fixed up the 88 spg on sat!
vac hoses (wow i have working air vents inside and idle fixed)
aero rims (rubbed a little w load/bad roads..probably do 195/50 all season when these wear..?)
ngk iridium spark plugs

car was running so beautifully until a clunk grind noise and seized gear box/no drive going into third in the middle of the brooklyn bridge yesterday. i am not certain if a piece of my car still remains on the bridge since i didnt feel like playing frogger across the road but when i looked under the hood i think the inner driver on pass side had blown...i saw what looked like some needle bearings and oil from the ripped boot. earlier that day the speedo seemed jumpy at lower speeds which apparently is a symptom. goin to see local saab guru to get the official assessment hopefully today.

does this sound like "simply" an inner driver catastrophy? does the gearbox usually seize up like that? is there any hope that no damage was done to tranny? what do ya guys think? any good places to get drive shaft/axle parts (mail or nyc area)?
