I have a '92 SC myself. The only buzzing sound you should hear with the key on and the engine off or stalled is the idle control valve.
Have you checked the obvious stuff- got spark? Got fuel? A dying crank position sensor will give you weak spark or none at all. Is the NTC sensor new? Does its resistance match the values for its current temperature in the table? Have you tried unplugging the air mass meter? Have you examined the connections on the air mass meter? Does the engine computer have any fault codes stored? Are the spark plugs fouled? Is the firing order correct? Is the ignition switch okay? Are your fuses intact? Did you jump the terminals to see if the fuel pump runs?
Plenty of work cut out for you.
