Sister's had two, good luck with the first to a point. She put nothing but interstate miles on it for four years, then drove it around town for two. Over the last two years, things started failing left and right- cataly$t, wheel bearings, radiator, shift linkage, clutch getting thin, ...
Seems to be a 150k car tops. I changed the oil most of the time, on time, with synthetic, so the valves hadn't started leaking too badly.
I looked at them in my shopping day, but there were a few drawbacks:
drum brakes unless you got the mid-line model
forced AWD, I know it's your sales pitch
no window frames
same engine that was tough to work on as it was in a smaller car
Grand Mothership influence inside
poor rear crash protection
supports evil dealership (locally)
forced 17" wheels
manual seat adjustments suck (long trip to Ohio, choices were up and forward or flat on the floor, knees/thighs unsupported, I didn't make it past Erie)
torque availability not so hot until 3k
hood uses a prop rod
I am not a bus
Thanks for letting me vent for a bit. I feel slightly better now (he types, eyebrow twitching)
