Morning, guys. Pls don't let me down, I used to win not to loose.
Finally I run Tech2 with the DIY adapter and... This son of ma gun is cheating.
1. If the system is 'as is'
66666, constant, "SRS ECU failure"
10032 (32) constant, "diagnostics ECU failure" (what's that? Is there a second tiny ECU inside the main SRS ecu?)
10005 (05) constant, "front #1 sensor has been shorten for more then 2 secs"
40005 (05) temp, "front #1 sensor has been shorten for more then 2 secs"
10001 (01) constant, "front sensor was shorten 1-5 times"
2. If #1 sensor (driver's side) is unplugged (sensor socket or ECU socket)
1000f (0f) constant, "front sensor #1, ground resistance is 3 ohms or more"
10011 (11), constant, "front sensor #1, wiring failure"
sometimes 66666 (SRS ECU failure) code happens
3. If I disconnect #2 sensor (passenger's side) while the #1 sensor is connected then system doesn't tell anything on this. It doesn't notice that #2 sensor was disconnected. Bug or feature? But if I disconnect both sensors then system reports about ground resistance and wiring failures for both sensors.
I'll surely do some research on my own (this order: #1 sensor, then wiring and finally ECU) but if it's a known issue then any known howto's and other inputs are appreciated. Although any inputs are appreciated since I've never dealt with SRS before
Zig
P.S.
Just in case: unfortunately I'm the most authorized personnel here to deal with C900 SRS.
