It seems like I have done everything. I have a 1990 900 TC, in perfect shape, just did the clutch and slave, replaced the main seal and got it perfectly countersunk and used thread seal in every recomended place. I still drip oil!!! All I want in Saab life is to NOT drip oil all over the driveway and smell it burning on the exaust. (My wife says my car smells bad! :-(. I have changed the o ring on the distributer, it weeps a bit but nothing to speak of. I would now say its coming from the firewall side. I know that back when I changed the main pully I also did the oil pump gaskit and pully seal. I didnt actualy do this work so who knows if it was done right.
So, after reading all this rambeling, what do I ask? I need all your ideas as to where are the common places that our engens leak and how to get at them and fix them.
(PS) I have never had to re do the head gaskit and I have no indecations that I will have to soon but, when the flywheel was off, I did see a sludge trail from that face of the head, it was not all that wet, it must be weeping a wee bit of oil.
Still, Ideas ol pals??
