Saab repair near Johnson City, TN? Posted by The Noob Eternal [Email] (#3049) [Profile/Gallery] (more from The Noob Eternal) on Sun, 16 Nov 2008 15:51:00 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've goot a good repair guy in the Boston area, but am heading south for Thanksgiving and will be in the Johnxon City, Tennessee area (specifically Piney Flats) for a few days. Since things are generally cheaper in the South I'm wondering if I should get a few repairs done there instead of before I drive down (next Sunday). I'm also reluctant to try doing my own work in case I get stuck and end up badly delayed.
So: Does anyone have recommendations for repair people in that area - and/or knowledge of what, if any, is the difference in costs and whether it makes sense to hold off? (None of the repairs are critical - vacuum leak and whatever the leak is that causes antifreeze to drip between the clutch and brake pedals - but so far it's a fairly slow leak.) While I'm there, I'll also be looking for a place to buy used tires.
Many thanks...
