200k, highly modified 300hp, original transmission. Ummm deduct $2000 right there. Yes the 94 is the last, and that might matter in 10 years, but you have to find the buyer that cares. How long do you want to keep it? How much will you drive it? How much work do you want to have to get done (and how much will you DIY vs pay the shop)? Of course it's all a crapshoot, either engine or transmission could blow it's guts out in a month, but the smart money is on the lower mileage, less stressed car, not being the one to do that...
If you are hot to do the mods, I bet your mechanic would be happy to do the ones you want to have done...
If you plan to park in the garage and come out when the sun is out on the weekends, shine the car, polish the wheels, buff the interior and engine compartment and show up at the local Saab club GTG and show off... get the 94. If you plan to put 5k-10k miles a year on it for 5-10 years get the 92.
