I second the probability that it is ignition related. Likely it's the wire harness to the hall effect sensor on the distributor. Be sure that the contacts are clean, and that the wires are sound. Try moving the harness around a bit and then restarting the car. If it fires, that's your problem.
You can also check the fuel pump by jumping a wire from the hazard light fuse barb to the fuel pump fuse barb and listening for the fuel pump to run. Do this with the car off. Pull the two fuses and jump from the (+) side of the hazard fuse to the (-) side of the fuel pump fuse. You can also crack the banjo fitting on the end of the fuel rail before you do this. If fuel squirts out, likely the problem is not the fuel pump.
You can check the coil by pulling the coil wire off the distributor and putting a spark plug in the end of it. Rest the end of the plug on something metal in the engine bay and have someone try to start the car. Look for spark.
