when I bought the car went to 80w90 semi-synthetic transmission oil but found it a bit noisy
so.....
have been using 10w30 castrol engine oil non -synthetic and even in - 35 C degree weather shifting is fine
read here that synthetic ENGINE oil in transmission is a bad idea (not enough grip) and that Honda MTL is the best
