Jimmy, others, < for 1986 900 16V LH fuel sys >
Ran test of signal to injectors and spark -- Both Good, Works.
Setup - Removed plugs, one injector connector, spark coil center lead.
--Used a regular 3V LED ans smal dropping res. 100 Ohms attached to injector coil feed.
--Attached ign. HT coil lead to spare spark plug gapped about 3/16 in. and grounded to where I could observe from cockpit.
Hopped aboard and turned key. Without plugs in the starter spun fast and mighty fine spark and injector signal blinked.
New Q: If fuel presure too low will the fuel pass the injectors?? Given those banjo fuel line conns. can't couple FP gague to meas FP. However, recent testing after trying to normally start the car when the fuel rail was opened fuel sprayed strongly. That what I'm going by for a FP test.
--Ideas??
