I'm sorry I can't be of any help since I don't know US tire market but I do wonder how you can expect certain advises to be given if you said nothing on performance desired. I mean whether it is important for you or not if those "best tires ever" will be noisy or not, dry and wet road performance required, expected life time, brake performance vs curving vs fuel consumption, any offroad requirements, etc.

For example one can say that tires A are the best ever cause of e.g. perfect wet performance and life time but will be hissed off by another who will apply to the poor driveability and disgust brake performance on dry road.

P.S.
Do you know that tires get worn cause of the age even if you don't run them? Don't expect "brand new" performance from 4-5 years old tires.
