The noise I've got in this Convertible is very light, small - NOT the wheel bearing clunk. I encountered that on my '90 SPG when I bought it several years ago. Heckuva noise! Yes, it would clunk once as I backed out into the road with the wheels turned, and clunk again as I straightened out the wheels and drive off. Downright embarassing if I was in a parking lot! Tis noise is just a gentle clunk. I guess I better remove the control arm to do the job. Should be easy since I just installed them a few weeks ago using Anti-Seize. Thanks for the replies.
