clutch hydraulics Posted by Shaun [Email] (#683) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Shaun) on Fri, 25 Sep 2009 07:25:42 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've got a situation that I could use some expert thoughts on...
Clutch was engaging really early (as the pedal comes up) and pumping the pedal a few times seemed to make it engage higher. So, I replaced it with a new one from eeuro which I believe is supposed to be the recommended one (Lockheed?)
Fast forward about 6 months and only about 1k miles, it seems like the same problem again. The old master cylinder was definitely bad by the way, it was easy to tell just playing with it once it was out.
Other symptom is a little bit of a "crunchiness" the first few uses of the clutch, and I swear I can feel a little bit of pulsing in it as I gently press on it (which I only do to feel it out)...I don't ride the clutch.
Ideas? Change the master again and hope for better luck?
Thanks for any thoughts or suggestion of what to look for while I'm in there this weekend.
