after installing a new Scantech slave cylinder. Within a year I was getting intermittent clutch line leaks. I couldn't see anything visible leaking but was feeling suspect about the cylinder. One morning my clutch system was suddenly empty, the line had drained the preceding night. Upon extraction, the o-ring on the cylinder piston was twisted and deformed. It had probably been doing that for the past year. A new cylinder install (after checking the o-ring for twists and proper lubrication) has solved the problem. No sign of the problem anymore.
