First: Welcome to the wonderful world of Saabs (a.k.a. hell)
Second: Get a Bentley manual.
Third: Use the search function on this BB. Sometimes it's hard to find things but most of the time you can without having to do too much sifting.

As far as the heater, the most common thing would be the linkage. If the temp dial turns pretty much without any resistance, the linkage is off. It connects the dial itself to the heater valve. You access it through the driver's side speaker grill. AC has no effect on heat.

Power steering. You're replacing the pulley on the pump or tightening it? I don't remember for sure but there might be a single bolt or four bolts that hold the pulley to the pump. You should be able to tighten them without removing anything. If you want to change the belt, you'll see a long bolt towards the top of the pump that tensions the belt, you'll have to loosen it as well as the pump's mounting bolt so it can pivot.

Ignition - never had to do it but I hear it's a pain.
