I have a convertabe so you might not have the same alarm, but,,,
You can disarm the alarm by putting in in valet mode. Under the front passenger seat is a small button. Press and hold for a couple of seconds and that should turn off the alarm system. I don't remember if the key has to be on or not, you do need the battery connected however.
I believe there is also a switch on the alarm module. On the convertable the alarm module is under the left rear seat bracket. Just pull the seat up, fold back the carpet and there it is.,
