Ignore the trolls, they pop up once in a while around here.
I have 35% on my Viggen and it in no way looks 'ghetto.' In fact, it keeps the interior several degrees cooler in the summer and cuts down slightly on glare in my rearview at night.
A friend of mine did the ebay pre-cut tint on a 350Z. Basically it works as well as you make it work - put in a lot of time and it'll look basically like a pro install. 4 of his 5 windows came out great, but the back window had a big old crease in it - ended up having to redo it. Good luck!
