So let's find out if you actually *could* be getting too much fuel. When you can, before you start the car, get a set of combination wrenches, and I think its a 17mm and a 19mm but I could be mistaken, and just crack the banjo bolt at the fuel rail and expect it to squirt fuel so be careful. If it does then your fuell pressure should be nominal at start. if it does *not* then your fuel is leak back down from the lines. Usual for this is the check valves at the top of the fuel pump, you have to crank for a bit to fill the lines, and then some injectors poorly while others may be ok.

Get your mech to read the codes from the car, the four flashes on the EZK means that the knock sensor is not working properly, not sure on the Turbo car. The knock sensor is on the block just a couple of inches away from the rear bracket that holds the started to the block. you can see it looking down between the intake tubes but remember it's on the block, has a bolt in the center of it and a single two conductor connector on similar to the fuel injector connectors, I use the big craftsman screwdriver to push it on until it clicks, I use to to remove it, on to push the release wire and the other to push off the knock sensor.

I would look very closely at *all* of the intake plumbing, many times I've seen that an intake tube has slipped out of the rubber fitting with clamp and is sucking outside air. sometimes the rubber was pinched and folded over and it looked good on the top but the back side was not correct.

Lastly, and this one just floored me, I'm working on a car for a client and the vacuum lines were all messed up. No leaks from them, but the blowoff valve was connected to the FPR??? What? everything connects to vaccum, and not to each other! The vacuum advance for the distributor should be connected to the Throttle Body, and almost all if not all of the rest go to the intake plenum, that thing with the four intake runners.

Let us know what you find?
