Hi everyone,
I recently acquired a '94 900 Turbo convertible with 58K on it, and am going through the things that the car needs, should have and "nice to have's." The shocks could probably last a while, but at 16 yrs old, it's time to freshen the suspension a bit.
I've read through all the posts about replacement shocks. I put Boge/Sachs in a yellow 900TC I owned a few years ago and found them to be just fine. I wouldn't mind the car to handle slightly better than OEM, but without a harsh ride. For any 9-5 Aero owners out there, I find this to be just about the perfect mix of ride/handling and would like the same in the 900TC.
I'm a spirited driver, like good handling, but deal with crappy LA roads. Between Bilstein, Koni and Boge/Sachs, any thoughts on the best overall balance? The Kinis are obviously the most expensive and I've sound some Sachs shocks at a really good price.
Cheers,
Paul H.
