you're on the right track. check the dip stick and make sure there is some oil in there. if the engine is seized its from lack of luberication. but it was running when you parked it, right? Grab an extension and Try giving the starter a few taps with a hammer then try to start it again. some times a starter will "freeze up" from sitting for too long. If that does the trick you may want to consider getting a new starter, cause that "starter freeze" might come back to haunt you at a very inopportune time in the near future.
