I agree completely. That's the original fill, and what Saab in Europe sells for these boxes. I had a box rebuilt in the States, and the rebuilder had a stash of the Saab 75/80 GL4 (no GL5, and definitely no Hypoid additives!). He filled the box with that, and it shifted as well as a factory new box.
I've never had good longevity with Red Line MTL. It works great for a while, but it definitely isn't a "lifetime" fill like the 75-80 grade GL4 gear oil is.
If only it was easy to locate in the USA!
