Erik, that makes me sick just to look at. Looks like an awesome car too. I'll bet on the same, they'll offer you a salvage payout and you'll have to buy the car back, since I'm sure a shop will charge over $3k. Don't give up on the car, I'll bet it's fixable for a reasonable amount if you're willing to put in the time searching for parts and spinning the wrenches.

Not that it helps at this point, but this is exactly the reason why I'm moving my 85 spg clone to classic car insurance with a $10k agreed upon value this summer. There's no difference in price and, lets be honest, most of us would do just about anything to not have to give up our cars after an accident. Best of luck.
