ABS + Low Brake fluid lights flickering

The `low brake fluid and ABS' lights in the dash of my 1990 900 Turbo both come on briefly when I brake ...or even if I just tap the brake pedal( without braking )but then go off immediately.
They just flash for a second. Brakes are in good shape and workok although the pedal is a bit on the hard side.
I changed the Abs Acumulator andbut it did not get rid of the problem
Any thoughts ?
