Robert, to my total dismay, the 900 cars are not worth much. I have an '86 900TC AND an '86 900 SPG to make one very nice '86 900 TC Aero. I just cannot get myself motivated to complete the car, because when I am done, what is the '86 vert worth? Not much!! I say this to recommend to you to find a good used block, leakdown and compression test before installing, put the car together, and move it down the road. I know I will get a raft of shxt from the Saabophiles, but I have owned many more of these cars (900 series) than most, driven 500,000 miles in them and loved them for what they WERE. They are now old technology and tired. Sorry, but that's the truth from my point of view. And now open the flood gates!!!
