I have toyo proxis 4's in 205-55-15 on spg 15x5.5 wheels on a 86 SPG with "real" spg springs. No rubbing in the back (even with a welder in the back) a bit on spring perch on one side (but I think it's a improperly pressed in wheel bearing/odd hub issue). No problem w/ 205's on 5.5 rims.
I also have Altimax RT's on a different SPG. RT's are the non-directional version of the HP's. They are wearing fine but you need to be vigilant on checking tire pressure.
You're not going to pick up more then a few % change in revs w/ a 205-60-15 but your options are limited.
