As you can understand it is of uttermost importance that I understand what the customer writes or tell me up front so that I don't go chasing a problem in completely opposite direction.
Still, it gets wrong sometimes and when you ask the customer again about it, you realize you have been barking up the wrong tree.
One such thing is trying to determine if we are talking about no cranking scenario or no running scenario of the engine.
I'm so disgusted with that our industry have not been able to come up with a surefire way of saying if the engine is not cranking over or if it is not firing up.
Cranking over, firing up, turning over etc, etc is used wildly among people with no set rules.
