Congratulations, and welcome to the fold.
While it might seem a little OCD, I suggest that you systematically go through each system one at a time. Start by replacing all fluids (engine, trans, cooling and brakes). Then do (or have done) a major tuneup. Follow by checking for wear on the pads and rotors. Then check the shocks and suspension bits. Finally, take it to an alignment shop to make sure it's all straight and proper.
While this may seem excessive, this routine assures proper examination of all the important things, but more importantly provides a baseline for ongoing maintenance. Not to helping mention helping to familiarise you with your new car.
