Exactly....I registered my '88 Springtime In Sweden last week, and NADA was nearly $5k, and that's just a regular 900 turbo convt. let alone whatever value you might tack on for being a legit SiS.

People who love 900's are FANATICAL about them, and will pay decent money for a maintained, rust-free example. Look at todays cars that are so technologically advanced, that they are virtually impossible to work on yourself.

Even the worst jobs on a 900 are pretty darn easy in comparison, and above that, the cars are SIMPLE, and thanks to boards like this, there is rarely a problem that comes up which has not been discussed, diagnosed, and repaired.

I'd take a Viggen if given to me, but if I had to run out and spend $10k on either a Viggen or a creampuff 900.....it would be the 900, hands down.
