Matt,
You should study your wiring diagram prior you go on pulling fuses , otherwise be ready to reset SRS ecu to toggle SRS warning light off that will surely start blinking after you remove SRS fuse (actually, not SRS fuse but smth like instrument cluster fuse, it's #7 in the main fuse box for your '92 MY - I just checked it with Bentley). To reset SRS warning light you'll either need Tech II diagnostic tool with SRS adapter harness or SRS system tester. According to what I've read here most shops will set you off $50 for this labor (but you must be lucky to find a shop with either SRS system tester that is VERY RARE or TechII-to-SRS adapter harness; if needed this harness can easily be made in-house from a couple of 10-pin sockets pulled out from junky 9000 saab and 4 or 5 wires).
Besides stated above I fully second everything Justin just said.
Zig
P.S.
You'd also read DMM manual so you put it in the right mode: e.g. 10A DC, not AC or smth like 20mA or 200mA mode that will kill DMM built-in fuse if your drain exceeds those 20 or 200mA. Not a big deal though to get that DMM fuse replaced.
