Sorry to hear of your plight, and if you've been a long-time customer of this shop, I'm inclined to think that a reasonable solution will come out of this mess.

Personally......I can't get over the fact that a transmission with no oil lasted 900 miles, then locked up tight, then unsized itself, and now only has "noise under load". Granted, its loud noise, but for Pete's sake....that's pretty amazing! I would have assumed it would completely grenade, or it would lock up, and never come back.
