I went through this with my 1988 SPG and fixed it.
If yo have spark, your hall sensor is good. Forget about bouncing TACs, I suspect some cars do, some don't (like mine). You're fuel rail is empty, so the fuel pump doesn't pump. This is either because its dead, or the ECU is not commanding it to pump. You can by pass the relays at the fuse box by giving the fuel pump juice at the fuel pump's fuse (get hot+ from say, brake lights or park lights, which are always hot even with engine off. If you hear the pump run, its good. If the engine starts and runs, then you likely have a bad fuel pump relay (which lives on top of the ECU behind the rugs in the passenger side foot well, a pia to get at).
If the pump engages when you jump the fuse, but not when you don't....
So why would the ECU not command the pump to run? Its not getting the signal that the engine is turning over. There is an ignition amplifier on the fender well, a small black box (mine says BOSH 0 227 100 137) just below the cruise control gadgets, and directly across from the APC unit. The distributor sends a signal to this box, signal gets amplified and sent to ECU. If signal does get there, no fuel pump engaging.
If you jump the fuel pump via the fuse box and pump runs, you still won't get the motor to run because the ECU is also not commanding the fuel injectors to open/close, so still no fuel to the combustion chambers.
In a nut shell that's a short history of what I went thru w/my 1988 SPG. Since changing the ignition amp the car ALWAYS starts (~2 years since).
of course you could have intermittent connections with the wires, but try the ignition amp replacement (eEuro, fairly cheap).
good luck.
