I did this twice to bleed the clutch and it worked like a charm on an classic 900--get a big funnel and connect it to tubing and the tube to the bleeder valve on the clutch slave. Hold the funnel up 5 feet or so, pour in the brake fluid and the pressure from gravity will reverse fill the slave and push the bubbles out through the line to the brake resevoir and voila! Worked twice on a classic 900 like a charm, plus costs nothing. The late George Schaeffner from George's Imports in Kansas City gave me that trick a long time ago, God rest his soul.
