unsupported for too long right?
i haven't ever had an automatic, but i think i recall seeing pictures (in saab manuals) of a bar bolted across the torque converter when flexplate is off i think.
i'm not sure what the bar is bolted on there for, maybe to keep the torque converter from sliding off or coming out? any of you automatic pros can help on that part?
and i think it was only if you had the component separated for some time. if it's a quick swap you may not need to worry about it.
