I don't have any knowledge of the 9000`s Posted by vvack0matic [Email] (#1443) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vvack0matic) on Fri, 22 Jul 2011 14:19:23 In Reply to: Re: Thanks all, Centerforce still is selling the clutch, Lancer, Sat, 16 Jul 2011 14:52:14 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
and what parts can fit onto the 900 motor. you mentioned you shaved off 4 pounds of the fly-wheel I`m just wondering how much more dose the 9000 flywheel weigh in comparison to the 900.Some time ago I shopped around and found a lite weight flywheel for the 900 that claimed to give the car a more prompt take off but warned if the flywheel was used in a daily driver street car the flywheel would be prone to warp, which would make the car have a very pronounced shutter when the clutch was being engaged and released. so its why I'm wondering, just how lite did you make the 9000 flywheel and do you use your car as a daily driver (street car). this was the primary reason I didn't go with a liter flywheel shaving off 4 pounds is quite a lot of weight. I'm not looking to get into the realm of a wrapping flywheel. However if the 9000 flywheel weighs as much or a tad bit heavier than the 900 with out shaving 4 pounds off and is a direct fit onto the motor Ill start shopping for it.
your experience with center-force clutches has me frowning
