Hi Robert,
Yes, that is your clutch line. The slave cylinder is the cylindrical thing that your started here arrow points to; the MC is at the other end. You have probably already checked, but is your fluid reservoir on top of the brake MC full of fluid? If there is a bit of leakage on the rubber part of your clutch line it is possible that enough leaked out to cause a loss of hydraulic pressure. I recently replaced my clutch hose because the rubber part separated from the metal part. After initial bleeding everything seemed fine; after driving a couple of miles I had lost the clutch again. Turns out that I hadn't tightened the clutch line connection at the slave enough, and there was a tiny seep - this was enough though to put enough air into the system to prevent it from working. You might try pumping the clutch a number of times - if pressure returns then you may have a slow leak somewhere. For a temporary fix you might try reverse bleeding the system as described here on several recent posts - search on clutch bleeding. The bleed screw is just above the clutch line connection at the slave.
Good luck,
Bob
