Awesome!!! Wish I were still in VT to see it. My wife and I moved into a new place a few months back and bought new furniture. No one believed us when we showed up to pick everything up in a 900. Fit two full size couches in one trip - one on top and one sticking out the back. Another trip was a full sectional couch with two recliners and a hide-a-bed tetrised on top. My gps directed us onto the interstate with that one. Good thing it was night time or we may have been pulled over - is there a law against having too much on the roof of your car? Another trip was a full sectional hardwood office desk. Most of that was strapped to the side of the car once the top was full. Yet another trip was a queen sized bed on top along with two coffee tables and two end tables.
I thought all that was cool until about two weeks ago, I spotted a guy with a custom made wrap-around rack for his '93 eucalyptus green 900 convertible! It had bars wrapped all the way under the car to hold one heck of a load without crushing the soft top. He wasn't hauling anything at the time, but I pulled over and waited for him to come out and talk. He came out, started her up, and drove right by as if i were invisible. Not a talker, I guess.
