You need two relatively small containers of brake fluid, and fittings/hoses to get BOTH the inlet and outlet of the MC in the containers. Then work the piston back and forth until you stop getting bubbles. The MC needs to be very level for this to ensure no air gets trapped inside.
IME, perfect bench bleeding is not necessary if you are using a pressure bleeder or reverse bleeding the clutch system and maybe not even necessary at all. Still, I always do a half-assed bench bleeding just because it makes the final bleeding that much easier. :)
