The check valves (2-one per washer) will have one nipple sticking out 90 degrees from a circular valve section 5/8" in diameter, with the other nipple sticking out the side of the circular valve section. The two nipples are at 90 degrees to each other. I think some people have had some success in snapping apart the valve section, and replacing the internal diaphragm with a piece of plastic bag. I read that on the Saab 9-5 board a long time ago. I have no picture available right now. Vern
