Correction: Do not use actual head bolts, use bolts in the head bolt holes. If you use actual headbolts, chances are the chain will slip up the bolt resulting in an enormous amount of leverage on those bolts. The chain needs to be secured as close to the block as possible, so just use short M12 x 1.75 bolts to hold it down.
Damien bought some eye bolts to handle the task, which are super convenient. I keep meaning to pick some up, but never remember until it's too late.
