NO START WHEN HOT FIXXXED

I've owned a 1992 900 turbo CV automatic for the last 7 years. For the last 6 years I've been fighting with a NO START WHEN HOT. The car would crank, no start. Sometine it wouldn't start for days. I came on the blog here many times, I've received alot of good advice. I've solved the proplem, I've been driving it for the whole summer without a problem. Here's what I've observed and done to fix the problem:

1- First, I've obseved that the WIRING coming out of the distributor from the HALLL SENSOR was rotten, I could see the wires because the clamp out of the distributor broke, that left them exposed.

2- Second observation was the HARNESS PLUG, plugging to the HALL SENSOR PLUG could not fit properly.. , no matter what I did the HALL SENSOR PLUG wouldn't fit straight to the harness plug, it fitted but looked crooked, as you know we need contact... plug didn't fit right, car would not start, but would start with plugs croockedly plugged. Funny, it worked croockedly without a problem.

3-- Third, It occured to me to touch the wires, to move them so slightly and everytime I did that the car would shut down, like she would do when stopped at the light or simply parked with engine running.. This kind of crap used to happen every time the fan would go off at the light. Here's what I think happenned, the fan would vibrate the car when it goes off, at the same time it would vibrate the DISTRIBUTOR, HALL SENSOR'S WIRES, PLUGS etc/with a combination of ROTTEN HALL SENSOR WIRES/ UNFITED PLUGS... There you go, she would shut down in the middle of the intersection with you with your top down looking like an idiot blocking traffic with a no start problem. You would be asking what have you done to deserve this.

SOLUTION: DO NOT PANICK, here's what I've done:

1--First, I'VE REMOVED THE DISTRIBUTOR FROM THE CAR, I TOOKED IT APART-- REWIRE THE HALL SENSOR WIRES WITH BETTER WIRES.

2--Second, I've made sure THE TWO PLUGS WERE FITTED PROPERLY( HALL SENSOR PLUG TO HARNESS PLUG) , these plugs could look crooked together, but if it works it works, bottom line.

At that point my car should be running just fine hot or not, would start anytime

Please pass this message around, since no mechanic nor the dealership can find the problem.
