Zig - - Looks like Jaws ready to take a bite.
An idea I have had, mean to visit a junkyard some day to follow thru, is to cut the ends off the jacket of the main front bumper, in several inches, then try to modify them to replace those bumper extensions on my car with a simple rounded curve in towards the bodywork, attached somehow to current bumper skin - - say a sleeve of sheet metal in the groove of each, then some discrete wire or other attaching thru holes drilled in.
My problem, in a snowy winter, is that I push the bumper into snowbanks, which shoves those extensions backwards and they pop off their tracks.Maybe there's a way to rethink the factory mounting to yield something that has backwards-forwards give to it, that will let me hit snowbanks at will?
