Thank you all for your helpful suggestions. In order to solve the problem, I have checked lug bolts, re-balanced the tires, purchased new front tires (the impact cause fatal damage to the tread) and had the alignment done. None of these settled the vibration.
After some more research and and a phone call to my mechanic in Florida, I have determined that it is either the tripod bearing or inner driver since I can shake the passenger side drive shaft easily by hand. The drivers side does not budge. Are there any tricks to determine which of those 2 parts is the culprate without taking it all apart. I still need to use the car (gently) until I can get my hands on replacement parts.
