James,
I thought you might remember that day, see this link:
http://saabnet.com/tsn/bb/900/index.html?bID=406532

As for the extra, then it goes from Bentley and my own experience:
- SRS connector pin #10 goes to pin #20 of SRS ECU which drives the control light (this one may be omitted when mapped onto Tech2 connector)
- SRS connector pin #8 goes to ground point 334/G20 (where SRS ECU is bolted on)
- SRS connector pin #4 goes to pin #19 of SRS ECU which is fed with battery voltage from 15 line (#15 of the ignition lock)
- SRS connector pin #1 goes to pin #1 of SRS ECU and I believe it's the K- or L-line of the data interface
- SRS connector pin #5 goes to pin #19 of SRS ECU and I believe it's the L- or K-Line of the data interface

According to those low data transfer speeds which can be observed after you hooked it up with Tech2, I believe that SRS is limited to 5-baud data transfer protocol - so it even may be utilizing the L-line only (which is usually used only for addressing/picking up ECU in a case of several ECU's sharing the same K- (and L-) lines).

So here's a verbal breakdown of those pictures available in that thread from the link above:
SRS connector (under the rubber bellows of the center console) pin <-> Tech2 connector pin
1 <-> 2
4 <-> 9
5 <-> 1
8 <-> 10

Zig

P.S.
Oh, yes - on my photos the green connector goes to SRS side and black one to Tech2 side.

mind the pin ID's when working with the connectors
