hi - i finally addressed the issue of a long standing oil leak problem and had the rear main seal replaced, had some clutch work done, and now she's good to go. the bottom of the engine was really a mess and my mechanic cleaned up a lot of it but there's still a lot of heavy gunky, muddy stuff on that engine shield and a few other places and i'd like to clean this all up - having spent probably more time on the external cosmetic issues, i think the innards need attention. anyway, just wanted to know if there's any more to it than some kind of a degreaser and a power wash. any help appreciated. thank you!
