you changed the fuel computer,... I`m going to go out on a limb and ask What is a fuel computer,
When you say the motor cuts out when load is put on it, dose that mean it totally shuts off and you then need to restart it or.. dose it shut off for a split second and then resume normal operation?
In diagnosing a motor cut out on these cars the entire symptom needs to be said because a fuel delivery problem, and an electrical problem goes hand in hand but can be diagnosed perfectly if everything is said the car is doing even if the issue is very minor to you and not worth mentioning could be the difference between problem solved or not, for instance<
if the motor is cutting out when load is put on it and the motor is unable to be restarted 10 to 15 minitus later and then only runs for 5 more miniuts or untill load is applied again, then these symptoms point to a fuel pump or ignition amp a few other things come to mind but for me these top the list,
another instance is the motor is cutting out while trying to put it into the slightest boost (putting load on)and then it will immediately resume normal opperation after the cut out. These symptomes point to an ignition coil, the plug on the side of the distributor making a bad contact, fuel cut off switch under dash, main ignition coil wire from dis to coil faulty
but to come on the bb and say the motor is cutting out is like going into the hospital and telling the doctor you feel pain, and giving no other information, would like to help but I got nothing
