Now that I have a completely rust free SPG, I find that I'm extremely anal about water. Of course it's garaged in the harsh salty conditions of a MN Winter. Now, if it's outside when it rains, the water stays in the bottom of the doors for a few days unless I open the doors and swing them back and forth whereupon the H2O will "flow" out. I don't think there is anything blocked. And I have new window scrapers. Is this a live with it condition? PS, this is not my daily driver so maybe that is one reason the water hangs ten in there.
