I didn't like the shifting feel AT ALL. I'd summarize this way. If you don't HATE the way your car feels from the factory, then stick with the original setup. If the original is just too sloppy for your taste, then give it a try. I really like the throw length, and "speed" of shifting through the gears on an OEM shifter. I don't speed shift, and I don't beat my car in the least. I felt that even though you shifted the short shifter at the same "arm speed", the actual speed of the engaging / disengaging in the transmission would be similar to literally ripping from one gear to the next as quickly as you could.

I disliked mine enough to literally give it away.
