...i have 2 '85 900T. One with Bilstein HD shocks and one with Konis. I have found the Bilstein shocks to be too firm and they have never really "broken-in", even after many years of use. The Bilsein shocks also felt especially harsh after installing lower coils.
Rear sway bar upgrade is a must if you have lowering springs. without stiffer stabilizer bar in rear I found the handling to become very unstable at high speeds. (though it does ride a bit better with heavy loads in the rear, but also tends to drag muffler more often when loaded...)
I Have Extra SAS Rear Sway bar w/ poly bushings and all hardware sitting around in storage. Let me know if you want.? (also heard rumor from SAS owner that new-edition C900 Sway bar kits may be in the works, but may never make it to market because of low demand. have all the C900 performance guys given up?)
