1992 Saab 900 Turbo.
I kind of have 2 issues that i need to address...
I just replaced my front brake rotors and pads as the passenger side was down to metal and grinding severely. Overall I thought the process went smoothly, except for the pads needed a little persuasion to fit into the bracket. After the switch, the pedal felt a little softer than it did before. I wouldn't go so far as to call is spongy, but its a bit softer. I didn't even lose any fluid out of the top of the reservoir, and right now, its at max without being topped. What might have caused this?
The second issue being what I suspect to be a sticking caliper. Since the one side wore down much quicker than the other, i suspect a sticking caliper. After changing the rotors and pads, i went on a drive and touched the wheels after. The wheel that I suspect has a sticking caliper was BURNING hot. Is there any easy fix to this without buying a new one?
