I don't get it Posted by vvack0matic [Email] (#1443) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vvack0matic) on Sat, 23 Jun 2012 21:34:06 In Reply to: Scantech Heater valve :(, 85turbosled, Sat, 23 Jun 2012 15:14:35 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I been running or 10 years+ with the 900 and haven't had a heater valve problem yet,.. i still have the oem valve,.. perhaps its better to go to the pick and pull and get a oem, vs the scantec. now i`d admit my oem did rot on its lower outer hose (where the plastic meets the hose) but it was a simple procedure of cutting out the rotted plastic and reattaching the rad. hose to the remaining plastic that was protruding out of the fire wall.
dont get me wrong I read years and years of people complaining about leaking heater valves,.. heck i even think nicknick complained about one... I don't see any problem with it. (oem that is) i been running the oem for 330,000 miles and its fine,.. go back to oem find one off e-bay, or pull it at a yard
